Consent to Personal Data Processing

I, a client of the SLIMHOST service, give my consent to the processing of my personal data (including: collection, storage, systematization, modification, removal, use, dissemination, anonymization, blocking).
I agree that the information I provide, in accordance with the regulations of the public WHOIS Internet service and the Terms of Use of the SLIMHOST internet service, may be obtained by third parties at any time in the manner determined by the regulations of the public WHOIS Internet service and the Terms of Use of the SLIMHOST internet service. SLIMHOST has the right to provide access to and transfer my personal data to third parties without any additional notices, without changing the purpose of their processing.
The purpose of using personal data and its further processing is for the client to receive the services provided by the service.
The service undertakes to process the client’s personal data in strict compliance with Ukrainian legislation on the protection of personal data.
If the client believes that the measures taken by the service cannot ensure full protection of personal data during transfer, including cross-border transfer, the client agrees that their personal data will be transferred in an anonymized form, provided this does not result in the inability to provide the services provided to the client.
Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data may be carried out by the client sending a corresponding order in simple written form to the email address or postal address. In doing so, the client agrees that such withdrawal may lead to the following consequences:
Refusal by the service to provide services, due to the impossibility of their performance without the specified data
Deletion of the domain name, if it cannot be maintained without the service having such data
The client, by this consent, authorizes the Service, as the Registrar, if necessary (if required by the Rules and Regulations of the relevant domains or services), to publish their personal data in the databases of the relevant services in the scope and form necessary for the operation of the services, departments, and domains.
The client agrees that their personal data may be transferred to another Registrar or public domain Administrator, if the operation being performed requires identification of the client as the owner of the domain name.
The client’s rights with respect to their personal data are defined in Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data”.

Privacy Policy

According to the Service Agreement between SLIMHOST and the customer, the parties adhere to the following privacy policy:

The Customer consents to the processing of personal information by the Contractor (including: collection, storage, systematization, modification and removal, use, dissemination, anonymization, blocking). The purpose of using personal data and its further processing is for the Customer to receive the Contractor’s services. The Contractor undertakes to process personal data in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine on the protection of personal data. The Customer agrees that the Contractor has the right to anonymize their personal data for transfer (including cross-border transfer) to other participants in the domain name registration market. The Customer also agrees that the Contractor has the right to transfer their personal data to other participants in the domain name registration market in an open (non-anonymized) form.
The Customer has the right at any time to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data by sending the Contractor an order in simple written form to the Contractor’s postal address. Upon receipt of such an order, the Contractor has the right to suspend the provision of services to the Customer, namely to terminate the performance of this Agreement and delete (terminate the registration of) the domain name.

By entering into this agreement, the Customer authorizes the Contractor, as the Registrar, to publish the Customer’s own personal data in the databases of the relevant services in open access on the Internet, as necessary for the operation of the services, departments, and domains. The Customer agrees that their personal data may be transferred to another registrar and/or Domain Administrator, if a given operation with the domain name requires identification of the Customer as the owner (Registrant) of the domain name.

SLA Service Level Agreement

We make great efforts to provide services at a high level and give our clients a quality guarantee through a special Service Level Agreement (SLA).

General characteristics of the SLA:

  • Round-the-clock monitoring of equipment status and all services.
  • Daily backup of data to remote storage media.
  • Mirroring of data simultaneously across multiple hard drives.

Definition of quality service provision:

  • At least two DNS servers are operational and correctly servicing requests.
  • All services are operating normally and servicing client requests.
  • The server is reachable from the upstream provider’s network.

Circumstances that void the SLA:

  • Scheduled and emergency maintenance by upstream providers.
  • Actions by the client (or third parties) that are verifiably the cause of the problem.
  • Compromise of the client’s account, including through a vulnerability in server software; a network attack on any server resource.
  • Suspension of the service for an administrative reason (payment period expiration, creation of high server load, etc.).
  • Force majeure circumstances. These circumstances include: natural disasters, military actions or government decisions, and unlawful actions of third parties.

Procedure for filing a claim in case of a guarantee violation:

  • Reports of guarantee violations are accepted exclusively by creating a request in the billing panel within 24 hours of discovering the violation, or by email
  • When making a request, you must specify: the service, the domain name, the time the problem started, the time the problem ended (in case of service downtime), or the request number (in case of a prolonged technical support response). Optionally, you can provide other useful information that could help speed up the investigation of the situation.
  • Requests are processed within three business days based on server logs and other available data. Compensation is denied if the problem is not confirmed.

Liability and rights:

  • Compensation is provided exclusively by extending the term of the service for which the guarantees were violated.
  • All confirmed guarantee violations are compensated on the 1st-3rd of the month based on the results of the previous month.
  • Compensation may be provided on our own initiative without a corresponding request.
