We provide website transfer when switching from another hosting provider. For clarity, a few rules:
- We transfer websites on a general queue basis, but no longer than 3 days. Our manager will inform you of the exact timing for transferring your website.
We carry out free website transfer only if:
- At least 5 days of the paid period remain on your previous hosting (if you have less than 5 days left, please mention this in the order comment so our staff can try to transfer your website as quickly as possible.)
- At least one month of our hosting has been paid for.
- No emergency website transfers.
We do not perform urgent transfers of your websites. Please make sure that at least 5 days of the paid period remain on your old hosting. This is because we transfer websites at a time when technical support is not heavily loaded.
- We cannot guarantee a good quality transfer of the website, or that all of the website’s functionality will work.
We do not perform full testing of your website — that is entirely your responsibility. We do not configure your website’s scripts. If you discover that your website is not working correctly, you can report this through the ticket system or in the online chat. If this problem is related to individual account configuration for your website, we will fix the necessary settings. If the problem is related to incorrect script operation, hosting technical support will not be able to help in this case.
- Hosting technical support does not provide support services for your website.
SlimHost’s technical support department does not provide support for your website. We only provide help with transferring websites. If you need ongoing or one-time help working with your website, you can order an additional support service in the billing system, and our web development department will take care of your website.
- For us to transfer your website, you need to sign up and order hosting with us.
