CC is the official domain of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands (Indian Ocean). The Cocos Islands are a group of 27 coral islands located in the eastern part of the Indian Ocean. More than 820,000 names are registered in the CC domain.
Registration of CC domains is carried out automatically, without restrictions. This means the domain can be used immediately after registration payment.
The CC domain control panel allows you to change the domain’s contacts, configure NS, create Glue Records, and renew the domain.
A CC domain can be purchased for a period of up to 10 years. After the domain’s expiration date, the owner of a CC domain has 28 days (the ARGP period) to renew the domain. If renewal is not completed during the ARGP, the domain moves into redemptionPeriod (pending deletion). During the redemptionPeriod (30 days), the domain can still be restored, but the restoration price is significantly higher than the renewal price.
